| Fact or Fiction? You make the call. This site does not claim any of its content is 100% fact. All the information is gathered from many different sources. Public chat, personal IMs (instant messages), emails and online forums. Personal names of people that submit information will not be revealed, so don't even bother to ask us. If you find information about yourself on this site, don't email asking that it be removed. It will not be done. Also, be aware that should you choose to email, IM or submit any sort of rebuttal to information contained on this site - that, too, will be posted along with a statement that the information came directly from you. So feel free to fill us in if we have something stated incorrectly. Yes, we realize this may seem pretty stupid, but, let's face it... chat rooms are filled with interesting drama. The he said, she said game is an ever-present part of chat life. We are simply bundling all the information and presenting it in a somewhat organized and easily understood environment. YOU, the ever-faithful chatter, provide ALL content on this site. If you see the "md_tattler" name in your chat room, know that person is diligently taking notes and receiving IMs to be used as content on this site. You may make attempts to boot, but they will always return. ALL chat is fair game to us. ALL posted material that is open to the public is fair game to us (with, of course, proper homage given to its source if it came from another site such as a Yahoo! Group) Consider this site the National Enquirer of Yahoo! Chat. Take what you read with a grain of salt and learn to laugh at yourselves like we do. Your trivial problems, personal quarrels, beliefs, pictures, statements and romances are all being watched, recorded and reported. Maybe this will help you see how silly, pointless and ridiculous chat can be, as well as letting you see how other people perceive you. New drama happens everyday and you can count on us to bring it to you in one tidy little web site. We try and make sure the information passed to us is, at least, fairly valid. Just because you, the chatter, do not like someone else and you think The Tattler would be a good forum to attack him or her, does not mean we will post what you say. We use our judgment to determine what constitutes good and accurate content. IMs, unless they come with a date/time stamp, will be scoffed at and evaluated individually. It is very easy to put words on someone else's fingertips online. IMs and email directly to md_tattler containing information about someone other than the author will be investigated and posted, providing some or all of the information can be verified. |
